Hi, I’m Ellie!

I’ve known I loved theatre since I was very young—the exact moment being the day I watched Annie with my childhood best friend, Kylee. From then on, I couldn’t get enough. Theatre quickly became my home, my community, and my safe place. I’ve always dreamed of opening my own theatre company someday so I can create the same kind of love and belonging that was given to me growing up.

That doesn’t mean my journey has been easy. Like so many in this industry, I’ve faced my share of rejections and typecasting, often because of the way I look. For a while, it made me question whether there was a place for me in theatre at all. But the truth is—I love this art form too much to let it go. Instead of breaking me down, those moments have fueled me to carve out my own path, to keep showing up, and to tell stories that deserve to be heard.

On stage, I’ve had the joy of performing as Tabatha (and Alice understudy) in Alice by Heart with Melpo Theatre Co., and with Upright Theatre Co. as Angel City 4 in City of Angels. I’ve also found a huge part of myself on the other side of the table, working as Assistant Director on Miss Nelson is Missing and Elf with Centerstage Theatreworks, and directing in projects like One Day Only with Rover Dramawerks. No matter where I am in the process, I thrive in the collaborative energy of creating something bigger than myself.

At heart, I’m someone who finds joy in making people feel seen and included—whether that’s through performing, directing, or just being present in the rehearsal room. Theatre has given me a place to belong since I was little, and I hope to spend my career giving that same feeling back to everyone. Everyone deserves to be seen and heard onstage.
